Mobilizing and equipping members to be on mission at home and abroad is the mission of Glocal Ministries. We encourage members to pray for missionaries, to give to mission causes, and to be directly involved in hands-on missions. We encourage all members to engage in personal evangelism and provide opportunities for members to share their faith in our community and around the world.
Multi-Housing Ministry
We at Bon Air have looked at how we could reach people in our community with the good news of Jesus Christ. Jesus modeled how we are to “love our neighbor.” His approach was to actively do ministry or the work of the church. Through our ministries in multi-housing complexes—apartment buildings, mobile home parks, and retirement complexes—we seek to minister to the whole person. Seeing people struggle with the everyday challenges of live, we seek to help them bear the load.
Prison Ministry
"We Offer Hope Through Jesus Christ" To reach prisoners for the Lord Jesus Christ, to enable Christian growth of prisoners through discipleship and the study of God's Word, to assist prisoners and their families with personal needs and to help prisoners make the transition back to society.
Evangelism
Sharing Christ in word and deed is what we naturally do as Christ followers. At Bon Air, we encourage all believers to be intentional about engaging in personal evangelism in the daily marketplaces of life - being Christ-presence in the world. We also intentionally provide opportunities for believers to further engage in evangelism. Training opportunities on how one can better share his/her faith are offered periodically or upon request. In addition, ministry opportunities are available that allow believers to plug-in a coordinated outreach effort.
