Crossing the Bridge

Entering middle school can be an unsettling time as it is a major transition. As your student ministry, we're here to help each student and family through this transition.

There are a lot of changes that you will experience, so many new things to explore, and we look forward to walking beside you through the tween/teen years.

On Sunday, August 19th, join us for our annual Crossing the Bridge ceremony.

This is a celebration for families and students to attend as rising 6th-grade students cross the bridge from children’s ministry into student ministry. It's a sacred ritual that is both powerful and fun.

Crossing the Bridge is an after-church event as we leave the church at 12:30 pm and enjoy a meal together at Bottoms Up Pizza. We'll then take a short walk across the street for our ceremony on Richmond’s Canal Walk!

We will have older students and Sunday school teachers present to meet and greet with you as you are officially welcomed into the student ministry.

Register your family here beginning June 28th!

This is a free event as we celebrate and welcome all rising 6th-grade students.

Please feel free to contact Children's Pastor, Kim Boswell, at kim.boswell@bonairbaptist.org or Student Pastor, Annalise Lynn, at annalise.lynn@bonairbaptist.org if you have any questions.
