A native of Helsingborg, Sweden, Daniel has lived in the U.S. for 13 years where he has performed in various musicals on and off Broadway and toured with bands throughout the country. After meeting Katie, now his wife, the two began seeking God's plans and purpose for their lives. Daniel founded Passion Academy, a local School for the Arts that trains, equips and mobilizes people of all ages who want to pursue music and dance disciplines. While serving as interim worship leaders with the JRC, they fell in love with the community and sensed a strong calling to be part of our church family. Together with their son, Lukas, Daniel and Kaite call Bon Air home.
In 2015, Amy first came to the James River Campus as a visitor with her husband, Joe, and their daughter, Cora. They fell in love with the JRC and felt called to make Bon Air Baptist their church home. Later that year, they were blessed with a baby boy, Tyler. Over the last two years, Amy and Joe have been involved in many areas of ministry. Their passion for the Lord has been instrumental in fostering the strong sense of community we share at the JRC. As the JRC Children's Ministry Coordinator, Amy's passion is helping children feel connected to the Gospel and learning about the unfailing love of Jesus.
